Addiction Journal Club

The purpose of the Addiction Journal Club is to keep participants up-to-date with the current state of the addiction neuroscience field at large. The format for each meeting is an interactive forum, in which a primary presenter guides the discussion of a research article, with participation from all attendees. Presenters are encouraged to select current articles from the higher impact journals (Science, Nature, Nature Neuroscience, Neuron, etc.). The scope of the article selection is broad, with the only requirement being a connection to addiction. Past articles have included, but were not limited to, patch-clamp electrophysiology in rodent brain slices, single-unit electrophysiology in non-human primates, functional MRI with humans, and molecular biological studies.

Meeting Times

The Journal Club is held on Thursdays at 10AM in the 6th Floor Conference Room (S640). Please contact us if you would like to participate or have any questions/suggestions.
